Thanks for making those installation videos. They are extremely helpful! If I may suggest, I've realized that when you are recording and you move your camera toward an area of attention and it does not focus properly. If you make a new video it would be much smoother and clearer if you had auto focus running or you refocused the camera after moving in close.

Nope, everything you need to install will be included with your camera. Even the wire for Finevu products are long enough to reach from windshield to trunk on GL, ML, X6s.

This is a problem with our website module

Unless you register to our website, you will see TAX included price on all our devices.

As promised we are offering
CR500HD for $270 + Tax = $302.40
CR500HD for $270 + $40 + Tax = $347.20

However, if you register into our website, the website will give you a tax excluded price if you are not from Canada.

I like the profile of the BlackVue cameras but I heard they're prone to overheating. Is that true? Are the FineVu cameras similarly afflicted?

FineVu cameras are not suffering from any overheating issue. FineVu cameras are most reliable dash cam in the market and that is why we are holding a group buy on the FineVu dash cams instead of Blackvue.

i just browsed your shop for placing an order.
I see that you're selling 2 versions of the CR500HD camera?
1 camera with a black outer ring for north american market this one is more discrete and the other which has a golden color outer ring is more noticeable?

is it only a design change between both cameras or there are other things that differ?

if there is no difference between both cameras I want one with a black outer ring for more discrete fitting.
