This collection is amazing! Such beauty and diversity in the cars. However, I have a few concerns. I am not saying anything about income, job or personal finance but I am curious. We are looking at well over $3,000,000 in cars here in this thread. Hell the La Ferrari is over $1,000,000 alone! So why are they kept in a garage like that exposed with all the other normal and standard cars? It seems like a parking garage to me. Just seems like a lot of nice cars in a not so nice surroundings.
Units in this complex go for on average about 8M to 10M USD per unit, at around 2,200 Sq Ft.
Parking Spaces, go for on average about 400K USD each, so yeah.
It's a small complex, not too many people live there. Only about 60 Units in total!
To get an actual physical house, with a nice garage, you'd be looking at 25M USD+, so, not really comparable truthfully. Not to mention, most of those places would only have a 2~ car garage.
Yes, you can find cheaper places in HK, but, location, location, location!
And not to mention, cars cost double what they do in the US.
Also cars go for double the price in HK as they don in the States. For example, an F80 M3 is going for $1,300,000 HKD ($165,000 USD). It's essentially a 100% tax in HK on vehicles.

But yeah I know what u mean, with that kind of $ we would expect a castle with 5 doors garage in America. But in HK space is limited.

Funny, some of my friends say the same thing about the garage where I keep my car in NYC. That is until they understand my monthly parking is more than their mortgage. Big cities are a tough place to be a car guy.

Totally! In central Tokyo, parking spaces can easily run 900$ usd per month lol. Two cars costing 2grand a month, that could easily be a nice apartment rent cost. Haha

If you BUY a garage parking spot - Tokyo, HK, NYC, London, Boston, SF - it's going to run you anywhere from $250k to $500k. Per spot. FACT.

To rent and purchase is completely different lol. If u rent a 2000$ apartment a month doesn't mean u can buy it for 24k haha, the apartment might cost 500-1.5m
Lol
Thought everyone would have known this haha
Exactly, in some areas even more.

For comparison's sake, I was looking into buying a high-rise condo in downtown Minneapolis in late 2010. The units were being sold by the developer because it was new construction. The place I was looking at was priced around $350k. That unit came with one parking spot in the underground garage. Purchasing an additional spot was going to cost me $25k and I was IN SHOCK when I found out it was going to cost that much. I cannot imagine spending what i was going to spend on condo for a PARKING SPOT.
