Teaser!!!!
So, I took up Tal and ACG's caliper paint exchange program. I have ordered a set of the new CF5v's, but they have not arrived yet. I was so excited and itching to get the calipers on, I decided to go ahead and do it. It was an extensive process just to narrow down the color choices, which are obviously endless. Needless to say, I am very excited at the color combo that I chose. There will be many more pics, professional, coming once I get the wheels on and the whole project can just pop, "shine".
I just couldn't resist snapping a couple pics and posting. The wheels are a brushed, gunmetal which will look just sick with the color combo that has been chosen. They finished production, so should ship soon. Then, major pics. But here a couple to tide you over:
Tal was patient and incredible to work with!! ACG is a fantastic company and would easily do business with them again, and are very soon(can you say KW coil-overs). Anyway, Tal knows his **** and was comfortable and easy going with me. I had many changes before I decided on my color combos. Tal, you da man!!!

Saw these in person before they were shipped. Stunning is all I can say! People said I was bold for gloss bronze wheels....these calipers are nasty (in a good way)!!

You choose the caliper color and AMG graphic color. You pay them for their service. Then they ship them to you. You install your new calipers and ship your old ones back to them. If they do not get yours back to them in a timely manner, they charge you for your calipers, too. It really is a badass program. Call Tal or James and talk to them about it. ACG is out of San Diego.

Or you can post it if you want.

Your blue got me thinking... I was sticking to the usual red if i had to do mines.
I remember the post where ACG was quoting something like 600$. Was it just for the paint or calipers + paint?

1. You valet your car
2. Your family uses your car for a couple weeks, while you recover from surgery
It hurt my, very deep down inside, when I got my car back........like this! These are my new track wheels.

My lord those look dope installed!
I can honestly say I've never wanted to redo the calipers on my car so bad after picking these up.
I cannot wait to see these behind the new shoes.
Thanks for all the kind words Jordan.

Off topic, Jordan I can see ur oem wheels don't have wheel locks.. I would suggest u to check ur dealership sale invoice to see if u got charged for them.. I got charged 195$+tax & never received then, I had to ask for a refund.

Oh, rest assured guys:
I will be the ONLY one behind the wheel of my baby once I heal and have my Forgestar's installed. Too many mistakes by too many other people, and in MY car. I will keep this baby in top shape and showroom quality.
And thanks for all of the compliments everyone, I think the caliper color and decal contrast are dope. And to see them behind my brushed, gunmetal wheels........insane!!

I was thinking about doing this too, but they never responded to my PM and I forgot about it. I've been calling aroud and most places here will do it for about $350ish, but they require the calipers to be taken off and fully disassembled. I have no idea how to do that and would have nowhere to leave my car since I don't have a lift so I might just call ACG and get it done.
Only thing I would need to know is, do you have to buy anything to get the new ones installed on the car (seals and whatnot). Most places I've been calling have been mentioning stuff like that so I'd want to know what I'm supposed to buy in order to make sure they work once they're on the car.

Again, thanks for all the compliments! I now know that I definitely made the right choice.
