iPhone 5 ?
I picked up a Samsung Galaxy Note II and can't get it to work. It's an 09 and I'm wondering if (as much as I hate them) will the iPhone 5 work ? I'll have to change over the plug to go from the older model plug to the new one. The Droid Razr Maxx HD may work. I've been trying to root this thing all night and it's a no go. So is there anyone out there with a iPhone 5 running in there Merc ? This is eating my lunch. Help please.

I have i5. No probs. Just need the attachment for the cable and it works well. Phone, iTunes, all good.

Do you have the ip4s cable and use the lightning adapter? I have the ip4 cable, which doesn't charge the ip4s. Just want to make sure I get the correct cable replacement.

I have used it in the 2010 C63 and 2012 C250. Only difference I found is the newer vehicle displays the album covers when playing music.

I can't get my 5 to charge. My first gen iPod touch charges, as does my ipad, but my old 4s did not charge. I guess I need a new cable? Although I didn't test it, seems like my cable is made for the regular 4 (not the 4s)...

I had my dealer run a 3.5 cable, male on both ends, from the glove box to the ash tray, which isn't used. Hook one end into the headphone jack and the other into the 3.5 in the glove box. My music runs through that and my phone through bluetooth. Works fine with this i5 and most Motorola smartphones. I got this iPhone due to the car hook up but if I find that a Razr Maxx HD will work this thing is going back. I just showed the wife that the screen is the same size as the FIRST DROID. I wouldn't have to worry about the MAXX HD on having to recharge it either. It's over 3100 on the battery.
