I presume the new age green people's clean cars which is mostly battery will not use any power to charge, will when batteries reach end of cycle, you leave it in the sun...., and it vaporise harmless-....Ha-!!!!!

Ya, nobody talks about how much pollution is created in the manufacture of batteries. Nickel, lithium refining are environmental nightmares. Rate cars like in Germany. Complete life cycle environmental impact, from manufacture to disposal.

It is not just the process of manufacturing batteries that is toxic, but all the additional electronics involved. up until recently, almost all circuit boards had significant amounts of lead in them (gold too.. but alot of lead).

And I thought I was the only one! We have three of them here at work. I thank the drivers all the time for saving gas means more for ME. All three of my cars barely get the MPG what one of those gets. Any way more C02 for Environment the I like Green plants!

Uh oh, I'm a bleeding heart liberal and I own 2 of the cars on the list (2012 C63 Sedan and 2010 CTS-V Sedan).
But I have a carbon offset ;-). I also just got a Ford C-Max Hybrid for short, around town trips (don't want to wear out the good cars prematurely just getting a quart of milk ;-). Of course Consumer Reports is now accusing Ford of lying about the MPG of the C-Max and the EPA is retesting. Perhaps with new results, I'll be 3 for 3 ;-)
