Just got a black C63 coupe. Which do you guys think looks better, satin or gloss black? Does anyone have any pictures of gloss/satin wheels on a black C63?

Just to chime in, I've had both satin and gloss black wheels, and BOTH are a pain in the *** to keep clean. The gloss shows brake dust about 1 day sooner, as the gloss disappearing is easier to see, but the satin begins to show the color of the dust eventually. Purely from a maintenance standpoint, I'd vote for satin, as that 1 day helps the cause.

I have had these wheels in both finishes...
Gloss looks better fresh after a wash not much unlike a black car but as mentioned above as the brake dust piles up the gloss diminishes.
The Flat Black aka Satin is not as striking when clean but does stay close to original finish after some driving since the brake dust blends in rather well.
I had each wheel based on themes I was trying to reach--- with my 997.1 and 997.2 I went with the gloss wheel to match up the paint and clear coated carbon fiber products
With my M3, E63 Wagon, CLS63 i went for the flat to offset the paint and accessory mods. I wanted more of a contrast.

Here are two of mine- both were shot when clean but when dirty the gloss loses lustre and the flat ...... stays flat
Satin aka Flat:
Glossy
