Beautiful car Craig!! Don't u pulled the insurance during winter months? I can't drive my car further out than my driveway. Lol
Yes everyone asking about the cost.. It's not cheap since everything is OEM parts installed at the stealership Bodyshop. Just say it cost about half our regular C63..well, almost! Lol

2013 C63 Coupe BS Conversion
I'll just post the details instead of PM'ing everyone. The parts cost about $20K net (which is net of the money I've gotten back to date from OEM parts sold). This is about 30% off of list price of the parts. All parts are OEM BS parts, no aftermarket kits here. The labor cost me about $13K and that includes paint and all finishing. In the end, this car cost me about $100K when I factor in my coilovers, and Rennen M10s. Far below what BS were going for up here...and that is IF you could even find one. I was only able to find one and they were asking $195K...insane! For $100K, I couldn't be happier with the end product and can't wait for Spring!!!
Thanks to everyone for all the positive comments too!

2013 C63 Coupe BS Conversion
BTW Later Bloomer, the sedan conversion is a whole different animal and not for the faint of heart. Check out Keith's (Dad's C63) car, I think he is the one and only to do it. It is unbelievable and as crazy I was doing this to my brand new C63, Keith takes it to an entirely different level and his BS Sedan is unreal. He's always pushing the limit with his projects so maybe PM him if you are seriously interested in getting into this project. The parts are easy...(but expensive) but it's the body shop you use that is going to make it a success or a bust from what I've seen.

Sorry Meng, forgot to mention...I keep it insured over the winter, you never know! Too much invested in this beast to take a chance.

This looks really cool! Do you think you'll do the hood down the line?
Also, why did you go for the NA spec bumper instead of the Euro one where the corner lights are deleted?

What about mechanical mods...like the rear diff cooler etc, and will you be doing anything to the engine, and if so, what do you have in mind?
As I've said before, an awesome & very professional, quality conversion.
Cheers, Pickles.

My dealer was having a hard time with the euro spec bumper so I just decided to paint the lights...turned out great so I'm fine with it.
Might do the hood in the spring...we'll see.

Oh and for engine mods, so far just Velos Designwerks tune. That's done already and noticed huge throttle response difference

When pulling ur insurance for winter, u have to keep fire & theft coverage, removing collision.. Therefore I save around 500$ for the winter months for the whole year.

Thanks Meng, I'll check it out but my insurance is very cheap so don't think it will make a huge difference. I pay less on my 2013 C63 coupe than I did on my 2009 C230

Yeah, my insurance is very cheap too.. I only pay 900$ year after all said & done. If ur insurance is below 1000$ a year, I wouldn't worry about it then.

Wow, great job on a quality conversion. I guess now that you put the cost of this in perspective, it really justifies the price of an actual BS, as long as it isn't marked up over MSRP. I'm assuming you had to have the tips of your exhaust cut to get it to fit behind the BS rear bumper. How does it sound now compared to when it was stock?

Thanks Everyone.
Nelly, I actually got the Black Series mufflers and tips so just a straight swap, no custom exhaust work was needed.
Yes, a BS for $105K would have been well worth it but as I mentioned...up here in Canada, the only one I could get my hands on was going for $195, insane. So for about $98K, I got exactly what I wanted. I don't track my car so for me, this look with my tune is everything I need in car. I am ecstatic about the whole thing, couldn't be happier.

Wow, very impressive and kudos to your dedication.
I do not want to be a downer but it must be nice to have $$$ to burn because you could have waited about 6 months and buy a real black series for that amount.
More power to you

Congratulations Craig! These are the types of posts that show that passion always trumps money, as long as you have it And definitely took the BEST economic possibility b.c $195k for a black is insane to a degree. Anyways, enjoy in great health and always post more pictures
