Michelin Alpines vs slush
In case you missed the rant last year about the Alpines in light snow here are some pictures of the C63 humbled by 3" of wet snow with slush. After backing out of the garage I was stuck in the horrible snow drift shown and had to dig out. This is not a joke. Be warned. I took the NX2000 to pick up a relative at the airport.

Sorry to hear that but it isn't a surprise. The Alpin PA3 are BAD in anything but VERY mild winter conditions. I had a set on my M3 and sold them after one season and bought a set of Blizzak LM-60. I didn't care about the financial loss as they were horrible and I couldn't rely on them in bad weather. The LM-60 would have had no issues with the weather in your pictures.

Half worn Bridgestone w 60s. The head banging is because I could not get going even downhill out my driveway. The rest of the trip was slam dunk. Of course I would not have been able to climb the slushy "ski slope" up my driveway.
The good part is driving my NX 2000, howling exhaust, complaining relative and all.

In some conditions they aren't that bad. Avoid deep snow, wet and slushy snow, and ice and they are fine. An inch or two of light powdery stuff they are ok. They are not OK for any really bad winter conditions.
