Last night I was with my brother and we decided to stop at Yorkdale shopping mall here in Toronto around 4pm to get a few things for New Years. Well this mall at this time was packed and finding a parking spot is very difficult. I decided to pull into one isle at the back and wait. A lady walked to her car to leave so I drove up and put my indicator on. I was the only car around.

This lady took awhile to get going but as she was backing up a red honda civic coupe pulled around the corner and put their indicator on for the spot. When I saw this I inched forward so they could see me. When they inched forward back I rev'd my engine and made a pointed to the spot indicating it was mine. The lady knew I was waiting for the spot so backed out in to them (which was inconvenient for her) and waited while I pulled in (Very generous of her). As Im in the spot ready to get out of my car with my Brother I notice a guy behind my car throw something at the back window -maybe a cheeseburger! It was wrapped and didnt leave a mark on the car. I got out of my car and said "What the **** is wrong with you!" The guys (Fat and Hideous) girl friend proceeded to shout "That was my spot you Gino ****!" -I laughed because Im not even close to looking gino. I guess this is what Italian people are used to saying to everyone. I then tried to explain that I had been waiting for my this spot with my indicator on before she was there and I saw her pull around and try to steal the spot. As I was trying to make my point, her (small and frail) boyfriend, the same one who threw the stuff at my car, decided to get a hockey stick. He then walked over and started to motion as though he was going to hit my car with it. I said calmly "You really dont want to do that" and got in between him and my car. My brother gets out of the car at this point and is telling the girl that she should really control her friend cause this isnt going to end well. After a few fake swings the kid hit me in the arm (My 4 year old cousin with SMA Type2 couldve hit me harder). I laughed and instead of kicking the **** out of this guy I let him run back into the car. I then read the plate out loud (remembering it) and knew the guys name from his girl friend screaming at him to stop. I proceeded to explain how I hope hes under 18 since Im going to be pressing assault charges. They were ****ing terrified. They sped of while the fat mut was practically in tears screaming at the guy.

My brother and I then sat in the car for 20 min just incase they were going to come back and key my car or something. We then went shopping and when we came out my car looked fine. I have the plate recorded, the model of the car 2010 red honda civic coupe, and know the guys nam "Daniel" Do you guys think I should press charges. I dont intend to but the more I think about the story the more I realize who psycho the guy was. Maybe it will be good for him.

I would. Kids need to be taught a lesson in accountability these days. The next victim might not be able to protect themselves like you did.

I would definitely recommend filing a report with your local police department. Depending on the laws in your area- it may be considered a misdemeanor assault and battery or if they stretch and consider the Hockey Stick a weapon- it could raise to a felony.
Not to hijack but to reinforce how crazy people are- I stopped at a grocery store on my way into work to grab stuff for a Christmas Party. While walking out of the store- I noticed a late model Nissan Sentra slowly driving towards me with 3 late teen/early twenties males in it behaving awkwardly. I was in uniform and I kept my eyes on them as they drove by. As they passed- the car came to a stop and the 2 passengers hang out the window and make hand gestures like a gun and say "Pow,Pow,Pow...Like to shoot me some PoPo." The driver then climbed out of the window "Dukes of Hazard style" and made the same comments. I said "Really!?" and he then began to reach down into the car. I was about 10 feet from my car so I popped the trunk and as soon as I did- they sped through the parking lot and almost got hit running a stop sign. If people are stupid and crazy enough to do this- nothing else surprises me.

Damn, that's crazy. People are always nutty around packed parking garages. I've had to force my way in several times because I was the first car with a blinker on by a long shot. I've also occasionally been the person to pull out and block someone like the lady did in your story. That was super nice, btw.

I'm with everyone else. I'd file a report because you never know what they'll do next time.

Someone stole my spot one time, I parked in front of him, blocked him and told him to fück off and that I have his license plate in case my car gets keyed. I took a picture as well and left. I did my groceries then came back to my car. The moron was still there waiting for me to move. He couldn't even get out of his car lol.

I would definitely file a report with the police, with your brother as a witness when you file the report and not press charges...just in case the lunatic attempts to file charges against you you are covered....always watch your back - if he makes the move first, you're fuc**d.
