I doubt the guy that built the fastest NA and forced C63s in AUS and fitted over 80 LSD would not know his stuff. What is being said is that when you activate 471 the braking system becomes less intrusive at the rear end because it knows an LSD is now fitted. Are we saying 471 doesn't affect the ESP? If so can we see the references?

I understood that 471 was simply a build code to identify LSD and like code XXX to say your car was built with pink leather, had no oerational effect.

Definitive answer please. Does the input of 471 affect braking operation (scary to think you can just input 471 irrespective of having an LSD and modify braking performance)?

Going to give a shout out to Jacky and Vivid, which has caught some slack in some threads in this forum.

Vivid/Jacky gave me a very good price on the WaveTrac LSD, better than the prices I saw posted on other sites, and the price included delivery. Jacky was then good with follow up and confirmed the UPS delivery, and I received it today. Having it installed at EC.

I'm still a newbie here, but am posting this as Jacky/Vivid did well by me on the LSD. Based on this experience, I would buy from them again.
