Carbon Fiber mirrors

Does anyone have pics of Carbon Fiber mirrors on any AMG for that matter, where the bottom part of the mirror is a color other than black? I saw Faris's, but it was only a pic of the mirror itself, and want to see how the car as a whole looks.

Trying to see how CF Mirrors would look if I did nothing to the "arm" and left it white. I have only been able to find one red SLS, but the pics were so so. Thanks in advance!

Is it only CF look you want to see pics of?

I haven't seen any pics where these are mounted.
Only this pic:

I think it would look awkward on a white CLS.
I think Faris did a great job with painting the "arm".

Thanks...but I wanted to see if someone had pics of CF mirrors where the bottom part was something other than black. I plan on keeping mine white, but wanted to see a car that didnt change the mirror's arm.

For example (but with more close up pics):

honestly? white in contrast to black or CF just would not look right.

Here's mine. The CF covers the whole top to where the mirror folds in.

Thanks buddy! I like your taste in mods, so I appreciate the input. I am going to put them up next to my car when they get here and see how it works. At the end of the day, its my car, and just like people may not dig my Bronze wheels or Brabus exhaust tips...I ultimately have to like it. I just wanted to get some more pics before I pulled the trigger.

Same to u & Faris, both of u have amazing modded cars all the time! Lol

Try it with the white arm first, u can always paint it or wrap it later.

As I said in the other deleted thread, I'm not a fan of CF mirror.. But anything on the new CLS looks good!! Lol

You both make good points and my only reason for not wanting to paint it black, is the $$$ and time away from my car Id have to spend to get it painted. Im a little over mods that require me to be without a car for several days or longer.

So the best option is to leave the mirrors white

Hey. What 'color code' is your white?

Anyone have any pics of CF mirror installed on Designo Diamond White (799)? I have that color, and wanted to see how the contrast/final product would look.

They just pop off. Takes a little bit of wiggling.

The contrast looks just like it would on any other white - on a computer monitor you're not going to be able to tell any difference. Check this thread for pictures.
