Power seems similar thought a touch smoother. The biggest change I can tell is the responsivness of the transmission.

I agree the transmission shift smoother. I was getting rough shifts like some was ramming into my car on each gear. Now its a tap in the ***.

V4 Versus V3 Tune

I also requested the V4 tune from Eurocharged and just received it today from Jerry 02/20/2013 since he is done processing all software versions for the 63 AMG engines.

I would also be interested in knowing what the difference is. I will be loading it on my 2012 C63 Sedan tonight overwriting the V3 and I will let you guys know if and what differences I can feel.

It sure would be nice if the differences were clearly documented going from V3 to V4 though.

Unfortunately, you haven't linked an answer to the OP. That is a V4 tune review. It doesn't answer the OPs original question of the differences between V3 and V4.

So what you're saying is, you want me to keep searching on the OP's behalf?

Eurocharged V3 Versus V4 Differences

@Jasonoff
That would work if you "think" you have the answer...What you have linked in your above posts is not new information that states the differences between the V3 and V4 versions, but since you "seem" to be so good at scavenging data from this forum than others and finding the obvious, go ahead and do everyone a favor and put up true diffrerences between V3 and V4 and this thread can be answered...Just saying...

Not really. I'm just informing you that what you have linked isn't pertinent to his question. Nothing more, nothing less. I'm sure the OP would highly appreciate your investigative prowless.

Jerry just focused on drive-ability for V4. Up shifting is even faster, the throttle blips when downshifting are smoother and more precise. There's no change in power.

Was tempted to link the thread with the info but now I'll pass...

That was my review hehe since then I've dynoed the car and put down 465-475 to the wheels on a dyno jet over 7 pulls ! I have a 2012 with mct tranny and the cold sea level winter air doesn't hurt either idk about v3 I went straight to v4 but I can tell you v4 is beastly !! And Jerry is going to release euro flash software for our cars in the next few months so we won't need to send the ecu or the my genius handheld just a laptop and the software ! Please it will have user adjustability like we can change our own timing +\- 3 degrees , mess with fueling, change rev limiter and some other stuff so it's getting even better !

wait... are you saying all we'll need is a laptop and whatever this software is and we'll be able to update our tune and other stuff?

how will the laptop communicate with the ecu?

doesn't sound like it. sounds like we will have a few minor adjustable options ala diablosport trinity. meh.

Yes as far as flashing the ecu will communicate thru obdII connection to the laptop and use of the software. They obviously have to email you the file and you can upload it from the laptop to the software to the ecu.

We might not have complete adjustability but its a step in the right direction AMG's never had anything like this the my genius hand held was a huge step and this is another step forward. Like i said you can change timing +/- 3 degrees, fueling, rev limiter, etc they are not going to give us full control for liability and business reasons. All it takes is a dope to advance the timing to much on **** fuel running extra lean and BOOM hell blow up the boards about how teh euroflash suckz ...

sucks for us id love full control

that must be the world's highest reading dyno, or have you done other mods?

Lmao.. No its not the worlds highest reading dyno it's actually the exclusive dyno Bruce from TTM uses that currently holds the e55/g55/cl55 overall quarter mile records so I think it's pretty legit. I think Bruce's / TTM work speaks for itself I don't have to lay it out. I have a 2012 coupe with the mct so probabaly less drivetrain loss then the 7G .. I have the Bmc filters/ charcoal delete/ TTM airbox, evosport under drive pulley, and eurocharge V4 tune with a couple gallons of 100 octane on a half tank of 93 octane on the 93 octane v4 tune . I also drove the tltz out of the car from day one so she's running healthy .. I have dyno sheets I can post tmrw I did 7 runs it speaks for itself ... I recently deleted secondary cats and will re dyno an then take it to Atco for some numbers so well see what those dyno numbers translate to .. Just ordered mbh headers to that will go on after setting some times with the stock manifold/ cats
