C63 gas overflowing
Occasionally when filling the car up when the 1/4 tank warning light comes on I have noticed it overflows before the pump clicks off... I expressed the concern to the dealer when the car was under warranty they where unable to find anything wrong, not sure if they even looked... the last two fill ups it did this... anyone else run into this problem if so what was the remedy, I'd prefer to stop spilling a $1.50 on the ground every time I fill up.

Sounds like u are using a pump with a faulty sensor .. Or u are not inserting the nozzle deep enough. I don't think it has anything to do with ur gas tank.

I agree with Roswell. What kind of pumps are there where you live? I've had that happen once or twice with these pumps in California, but it was because the trigger got stuck or the nozzle popped out of my tank. That one was kind of scary.

We don't have those nice pumps like you have in the states that you can set that little clip on the handle and walk away... I guess its too much for Canadians to handle.
There is only select stations that have gas I wish to use in my car which is 94 octane. It's a fairly new station... I guess I'll watch other people using those pumps to see what happens to them. I was under the impression that somehow air built up in the tank and that shut off the pump somehow.

Nothing your gas tank can do to stop the nozzle or pump... or
unless you have a hole in the top portion of your tank where the nozzle goes... but I highly doubt.
