My C63s traction control is taking control in ESP OFF - SPORT.
I put it in ESP SPORT, floor it in M mode.. a bit of wheel spin then traction basically stops the fun, drops engine revs and then we are on our way.
Mine is a 2010. I came from an E55 which did the same thing but I was under the impression they had fixed this problem in the C63 and it could be turned completely off.
Is this normal?

LOL!!! Hold ESP down for 5 seconds and ESP is completely off. Why wasnt that in the user handbook. Oh well answered my own question. Hope this helps someone else out. I see a lot of treads where guys can't do burnouts. I bet they were like me and assumed ESP SPORT was the burn out setting. This has been doing my head in for 2 months!!!

Glad you figured it out ....hate to tell you but it is in the Operator's Manual under ESP>>>C 63 AMG>>>Switching Off: (P66 in my 2010 Manual) With the enigine running, press ESP Sport switch until the ESP warning lamp and the ESP OFF warning lamp in the instrument cluster come on. The message ESC-OFF appears in the multifunction display.
Not in the manual is the WARNING- be prepared to replace rear tires soon!
Have fun.
