I would not drive a car you intend to keep for more than two years longer in the salt. if you are leasing it then who cares....lol.
really? eats the rotors huh?

eats the frame too? the non existant frame on unibody cars you mean.

all in one year huh?

I've been driving on salty roads for only a few minutes and the entire car rusted out leaving just the drivers seat and the 4 tires...

People were looking at me like I was crazy just driving around sitting on my seat with no windows and doors, just the axles and tires remaining

I know it sounds weird but it's true...

I agree with the people, you are weird and just ever so slightly sarcastic!

I've always went with the theory that as long as it is below freezing, the salt won't do much damage. Once above freezing, I try to wash it off as soon as I can. Using this method I've survived 25+ Ohio winters without having a car disintegrate... I'm assuming my C63 will survive as well...

If there is no snow / rain, and the roads are completely dry, will salt still effect the car? I think I have a little bit of dust on it, but can't wash it off for a few days cause all the car washes are closed, will this harm the paint?

Will it possibly affect the car? Yes. Will it reasonably matter? Not in my opinion. I wouldn't worry about it. Cold dry weather is the safest anyway. It is the freeze, thaw, freeze weather that is hardest on the car. People drive cars in these conditions for MANY YEARS without issue when properly maintained. What makes the C63 any different other than its starting price?

If you going to keep the C63 as a collector car then don't drive it the winter. Otherwise I think you are being too paranoid.
