Usually when a tire is not evenly wearing in the rear (if its rear wheel drive) it has to do with suspension issues. This can also lead to quicker wear on the tires. I know this from experience. I didn't believe it till I was on my second set and the suspension problem actually got worse to the point I could feel it myself. Now that was not on a MB product but a Ford GT.
You can adjust toe in the rear to neutral and camber. For camber you need to buy OEM adjustable camber bolts from the e/cls/sl models (search: camber bolts). You will need 2, they are about 50-60$ each if I remember correctly.
I kept factory aggressive settings, I still get over 10K +mi out of my rears which is over a year of driving for me.

How!? Want to hook me up with a set for that price?

What was wrong with your suspension? I have been driving pretty stupid and aggressive, but I don't feel that my suspension is "bad". I'm taking it to the dealership, but these are my first set of tires! Also is there anyway that this would be classified under tire warranty?
I looked them up, but I only see them for about $20, are they the same ones? Do you mind sending me the link from where you got them from, and does this work for the facelift sedan c63?

Oh, yea I heard that Michelin had great warranty for 15,000 miles, but wow just another reason to go to PSS

What about the Yokohama ad08's?? Nobody seems to talk about them here they are an extreme performance tire the highest class without using R compound while the PSS are Max performance a level below extreme .. The re-11 are also extreme as well as nitro nt05 which you can get for 250$ each and will outgrip the stock contis in a similar size or the PSS

Don't know if it's been said or not but DO NOT drive on those tires and get the alignment done when you put the new tires on or you're just gonna eat away at them and the end result. Will probably get more mileage if you had the car aligned to begin with bro.
4500 miles is extremelly good for aggressive driving. I am getting around 3500 max!

Better be using the TireRack.com to purchase those new tires. The Michelins are the best because they have a super warranty. I received $270 back from my two rears that were beat.

I was thinking about buying it from ebay because I am also buying fronts on ebay for a great price and the rears are a bit cheaper on ebay.

I just ordered new rears.. Do I have to fill out the warranty paper at time of install? Or can I do it later? Do I do it or the shop?

The Michellin PSS is an ok tire. Not aggressive enough for me.
If you want to stay on the OEM 18's I really like this set-up.
Dunlop Direzza sport Z1 star spec.
235/40 front.
265/35 rear.
There great tires!![thumbs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/thumbsup.gif)
ps. What I meant by great is "Freaking AWESOME."... lol

My car had the OEM Pirelli PZero's when I bought it. Rears were worn (not like yours! LOL) after 4k miles. Bought the HK Ventus V12 Evos to replace them. Good product for the money you spend. However, I plan to buy the PSS in the next future (with new set of wheels).

This wear is unsafe to drive and visibly illegal for an anxious officer to write you a love note.
My PSS are wearing more slowly and perfectly evenly. Huge upgrade over PZeros.

C63s eat tires. 5k rear is normal too for PSS if you drive hard. The only way to get better mileage is to drive like an old lady. Or go to a non performance tire.

I will say .. I think the 265s are almost as wide as most 275s I've seen from other brands ... down side is that they no longer make them in 265/35r18 ... had to, well, find mine from 2 different shops
