Spacer Question

Looking for set of spacers to make the wheel sit flush against the fenders. Any ideas of the correct or best size I should use?

I am running on 19" multispokes 235 (F) & 265 (R).

Many thanks in advance!

Sounds like you may have the same sizes as Roswell (?). If so, I think I read that he is using 12mm front and 10mm rear, but I'm sure he will chime in.

Do you think that would make an appreciable difference (serious question here, not argument)? the difference between 255 and 265 is 1 cm, which is 5mm on each side of the wheel. i ask bc i want to get the spacers now, even though i plan to get 265's in the rear and then lower it. i know, backwards order...

Believe or not, when ur car is lowered .. Every mm counts when comes to rubbing !

For example, I had 275/30/19 on my HRE & they were rubbing.. I didn't think going down to 265/30/19 would've been enough to stop the rubbing, but it did stopped it.

Another factor to consider is the tire brand might make a difference.. Some tires run wider or narrower than others.

In my case, from looking at the pics in my other thread, I would rub with 265/30/19 in the Yokohamas. But it can be done with a more rounded sidewall like Contis.

What brand were you using in 265 with the HRE? I guess I could go with a 5 mm spacer in the rear with 265, and that may be close to 10mm with 255.

I am/was using Hankook V12 on my HRE. And yes, 5mm spacers with 265/30/19 would be safer in terms of rubbing.

OEM 18's comes with 235/40/18f & 255/35/18r as standard sizing.

U can go 245/40/18f & 275/35/18r no problem. But if u add spacers, decrease the tire width accordingly with the thickness of ur spacers.
