What are you talking about bro, my vehicles only get driven to church, Starbucks and the grocery store, they are always short shifted, and babied. What's a dyno Originally Posted by BAD430BENZ

?
Had to laugh at adv4nced53's post, a few, or even dozens of dyno pulls will not hurt a car anymore than spirited street driving does, espeicailly one of these motors. Want to know what really beats on a motor? An hour commute each way to work every day in stop and go traffic in 90 degree temps, that is harder on a motor and trans than a few dyno pulls.
Lots of non-P31 C63 right here in Chicagoland, not sure why nobody has jumped on this offer yet.

I've been thinking about this, but my car is anything but stock.
I also don't have a second car so leaving my car for a week while living in the suburbs makes my life a lot more difficult. Now if AMS wants to loan me a GTR for that week I'm sure I'd be more than happy to cough up my car.
Either way, my buddy recommended I speak with Arne so I will be contacting them to do some dyno pulls once I get my new wheels in a couple weeks.

as I read some responses on this post I can't help but shake my head. if you were anywhere near Florida I would be all over this like flies on *****. send your tuner to Orlando and I'll pay half the hotel cost for a week and throw in some universal tickets ! haha

So let me get this straight. You guys will keep my car for a week or two, beat on it through repetitive pulls and map tweaks...and in return I get a free tune that's hardly worth $1000? And I thought MB techs driving it at the dealership was annoying...what a riot lol
That's more like a custom tune.

If I had a C63 and local, i would jump on this offer!! Forget the newbies that dont know who AMS is.

I've been following you guys' progress for several years now...and I am very impressed with your work. Can't wait to see the results of your M156 tune, too bad I'm not local...

AMS, what are you researching and developing through this? I thought you already had a tune available for the M156, along with a full Alpha C package.

We have completed our Alpha calibration on our own P31 car and need to finalize the calibration on a NoN P31 car for the C package.Originally Posted by xtyper
