i don't think that little difference could cause the right side to burn up? Unless it's not burnt, because neither does my mechanic know if its like that from the factory..!. Thanks everyone....good day
Left side (driver) looks like a coolant mixed with the oil. 100% not normal to look like that. Right side looks normal oil wise but sounds like coolant was getting into the cylinder chambers via the compromised HG.

Had all of the work done at my local mechanic, since I am self employed I was there everyday they would work on it...it was there for about 2 weeks...waiting on tools mostly + parts was probably 2 weeks... no damage to engine inside, we changed the bolts with the redesigned Mercedes bolts, changed all the gaskets, changed one lifter that the spring inside was "pressable""....changed oil and coolant and it started with a lot of smoke but was good after about 50 miles...no issues 300 miles later

Any chance you bought from an MB dealer?

Great news, glad you're back up and running.

So.... when's the trip back to the dealer to burn it to the ground? Subbed for pics.

I'm hoping that doesn't happen..is the car not ok driven at around the 230's maybe 240's degrees daily? I prob do like 30 miles a day and it goes from 210 which is when it's driven soft to 240 with a few good runs...is this normal temp for this engine? Anyone's engine running lower temps?

I am surprised they didn't change all the lifters.

What's the reason to change the lifters if they're good?

Not 100% sure, when they repaired my car they replace all of them.

Since we didn't notice until later that one of them was bad, got a new lifter at dealer the same day for $55? If I ever hear noise or a loud ticking caused from it, I'll just replace all of them when time comes...I've done about 500 miles after repair and not 1 problem...very low ticking noises in the middle of the air intake but I think it's a normal engine noise. I mean you can't hear it unless you open the hood and kind of lean in to hear it.
