Has anyone had experience with 6.3 ROW air box upper section or other air box mods? Anyone have modified air filter air box improvements?

I have a spare set of boxes and I'm going to cut away the flat part of the snorkel along with the obstruction in the snorkel.

Ill report back if the car likes it or not.

I had ROW air boxes on my 09 C63, along with LT headers, catless mids, and a tune. The boxes added around 10 rwhp. I sold my 09 and aquired a BS, then put the ROW boxes on. They added about 5 rwhp on my stock BS.

I thought so also on my 09 C63. They're more beneficial when you have other mods to compliment gains. On a stock M156, I don't see them worth the price. The only reason I have them on my stock BS is because I took them off my 09 before selling. If you plan on getting or already have headers and an exhaust with an ECU tune, then go for it.
