I think that might be a little bit of an urban legend. The Crossfire guys actually got together and made their own plaques (poser to the next level). But Crossfire's were tuned (actually de-tuned in hp, and did their own suspension) by SRT, hence the SRT badge....

http://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/...ine-plate.html

I'm pretty sure SRT Crossfires came with no engine plate at all.

So is this a bad time to also mention the fuzzy dice and the **** carpet dash

Nah, I ordered it, and I don't like it. I am now thinking the more stealth the better.

But I love reading the reactions here.

Really??? Fake engine plaques? I have seen two with their hoods open and both had engine plaques

Youre telling me they were both fake plaques? I guess anything is possible, but the engines are built by AMG, that is a fact.

the black series badge is the size of a lima bean...who can actually see it and distinguish it from a normal AMG badge unless the car is parked. the black series stands out from a normal amg appearance-wise because of the wide body kit and for those that have them, the rear wing.

Do it!! That would be the ultimate sleeper! lol

Imagine pulling up to a stoplight next to an F10 M5() and him coaxing you to race. From a standstill it'd be game over for him!

What do you mean stealth? You mean a non-black series looking like a non-black series? In that case, my CLS63 is the most stealth Bugatti on the road.

Dude, you've really too much time on your hands to have to go searching through posts for that photo....

That's exactly why I am saying it's not wrong. I've removed it but couldn't care less. if the OP wants to put a BS badge on his car, who are you to hate on him or tell him it's wrong? You put rims or modify your car, he wants to do the same.

Bunch of haters up in this ***** fukka.

God damn people

To the OP... It's like being the C350 owner that puts a AMG or C63 badge on his/her car... If it's not the real deal... don't try to be

Don't make "BS" stand for Bull Shizzle

That's just my opinion. In the end you should do what you like, but don't post it on the forum unless you have your flame suit on lol!
You guys are all acting like a BS means you have a fuggin Mclaren MP4C under the body. The BS is 0.5 seconds - 0.6 seconds quicker to 60mph than a stock C63. A simple tune and a good set of headers will give you BS performance and at a fraction of the cost. The only thing the BS is good for is the looks otherwise a slightly modded C63 will be head to head.

Get off the guys nut sack cause he wants to put a sticker on his car or stay on it. Your choice

OP Ignore these naysayers and haters. They got sticks up their asses and are acting like you raped a child. Kind of sad really that they're all geting upset and crying over the fact you want to put a badge on your car. If you want to put a sticker or badge on your car, do it. Don't seek their approvals.

These are probably the same guys walking round with fake watches and wallets. It's a car not a picaso. So put a badge on if you want.

It's like saying that people who put AMG wheels on their non AMG cars are criminals. That's a pathetic dig.

I think in reality its all good and fun....no biggie to the ego. Those who have the real thing are confident, those who pose and misrepresent have fun dreaming and fantasizing....as long as no one gets hurt...

If the BS badge thing means so little, why bother putting it on the car then. Why pretend its something it is not, if it is so little to aspire to anyway?
Your post makes no sense to me

WTF??? Bro, are you off your meds? Do some fact checking, research a lap of the Nurburgring for a plain C63 and a C63 BS and get back to me.

Lemme get this straight, you're clearly looking down on watches/wallets, and the people that own them, that look like the real thing, including badges and logos, but are not. Yet you put a BS badge on your car pretending to be something it isn't, and you're defending someone who wants to do the same thing.

Nothing wrong with the badges on this car too. Afterall, the owner can do whatever he wants, right? and he also saved a lot of money to buy real rolex watches and kangaroo hide leather wallets :-p

Whoa... this thread took a turn for the worse quickly. People should do what they want. And I'm with Jim - there is no comparison on a road coarse between a C63 and C63 Black - stock for stock. Of course you can mod the C63 up to take on the Black... and it might win - but the Black is incredible off the showroom floor. AMG put in the development time in the C63 Black.. that's why it was almost Motor Trend's best driver car and it did well on C&D's lightning lap.

I agree with you - to each their own... but let's be real and not mistake a stock C63 to the stock C63 Black.. very different cars.
