Muffler delete
Hey guys, I posted yesterday asking a couple of questions. Ordering the '63 this friday and coming from a 335i with a muffler delete which sounds amazing in person, I was wondering how it sounds on the c63? The 335i has the turbos which I understand gets rid of a lot of sound but having more flow makes more power, which doesn't seem to be the same on a NA engine.? A lot of people find it cheap and sounds bad but never heard it in person especially on the 335i.I wanted to know how the exhaust setup is on the c63.. how many cats and res' on the car and where they are placed.. There are some pictures that I found but its hard to tell. Would the '63 lose its "lion" grunt or will it just be amplified if the mufflers are taken off? Thanks!!!

I agree. The muffler on the C63 is the best part. You could remove the secondary cats though if you want a tad louder cold start and a louder exhaust tone under acceleration.

I agree, leave the C63 stock except for cat or resonator delete maybe. Stock is just superb. headers give you more power sure but you spend the rest of your life trying to make them quieter and the note will never be as classy or aurally pleasing as the stock exhaust on this car.
