OP, out of curiosity... why 20"? 19" suits the car so much better and performs better also.

Keeping the OEM rims/tires for track duty. I think they're that good. The 20" will be shod with slightly more durable tires for everyday driving. I don't like to drive the car at anything more than 7/10ths on the street. Having been a physician in an urban trauma center, I have seen too many people come through driving crazy.

20" is all for the looks as well - I'm not gonna lie - I go for looks as well. But at least I have a set to track with when I do go. I am one of thsoe that thinks that MBZ has probably set up the car pretty well for the track as is. They have probably taken into account the rim/tires when they tuned the suspension. I'm sure I can tune it even better for a racing setup - but I still want it somewhat livable.

Trust me - its a decision I thought a lot about. Some 19" look great on the car. But given that I think the OEM 19" matte black rims look pretty damn nice and perform well, I wanted to go with rims that were even better looking for street driving.

They look real awesome. Maybe you can help me out.
I have the black series kit from Prior Design and need to pull the trigger on wheels in the next few days.
What made you decide on these vs lets say the concave series from HRE? Is it because they are a newer wheel or anything else that will make me decide? Maybe you saw a photo? Damn I am confused.
I have decided on the brand due to quality etc. but not the model.

Thanks.. I think the design was what got me and there is some slight concaveness to the wheel. I like concave wheels but I liked these designs so much - looked new and contemporary.

I also liked this pics:

Wheels arrived. Looks great - have to mount them myself when I get over this 102F fever and horrible flu I have. The 325 size looks great, a little square in the shoulders, but I like that look over the rolled look.

Take care man, hope you are fine!

I think it would look great. Pictures don't do it justice. The three dimensional effect of the different textures of gloss and matte work well. The Red HRE is just perfect.

I think the yellow HRE would look great as well and the yellow cap looks good too. It would look crazy on the Aventador - plus they can get much more concave look to it - apparently the C63 can't get that concave.

The inside barrels are black with clearcoat right?

Correct the barrel is gloss black throughout - a little extra cost but worth it IMO. Completes the look even if you won't see the insde most of the time.

Got em on! Some preview pics - going to drop tomorrow with alignment and I still have to wash the damn car and dress the wheels and tires.

They are a perfect fitment. Thanks HRE. A few comments:

1. I need to get black lug bolts.
2. I was less aggressive with offset than others, I don't like the tires sticking way out.
3. 325 out back looks awesome.
4. Haven't dropped it yet, but it actually looks good. I'm gonna drop probably 10mm back 15mm in front.
5. Thanks Ben at Wheels Boutique and HRE... you guys did a great job!
6. Haven't driven much yet, so I'll let you know about the rubbing if its an issue. Seemed to clear the suspension bits easily.

I'll start a new thread once lowered and washed.
