I truly appreciate all of the compliments guys!!

I won't be going anywhere regardless of the car I drive. I am a car nut... all cars. I still spend lots of time on the M3 forums, here and the Vette forums. I like to think about, talk about, obsess about and drive anything and everything. Until someone kicks me out, I'll be here... besides, there is a VERY good chance I'll be back in another AMG in the future.

 

Weather was nice today and took the car out for a nice drive... I love this car... it will be hard to part with

At this price (for a Canadian car) that is as pristine as this, I'm actually surprised it hasn't moved by now. I'm in no big rush but it does surprise me. Especially when similar cars at dealers are listed for significantly more!!!

I suppose it is a small market and the right person has to see it.

Price is $64,000 and will likely stay there until the Fall I'm not prepared to take much less and not have the benefit of driving it all summer!!

 

Car sold today and I'm no longer a C63 owner

I'm actually really sad to see her go.

I'm now driving a 2013 Kia Sportage AWD It is my "utility" vehicle for winter months when I can't drive the Stingray... it's also my DD until the Stringray arrives. How painful that is going to be It's actually a pretty decent little CUV and won't be a bad winter beater... it was the "compromise" I made to have the wife "allow" me to buy a 2 seat Corvette with 3 kids in the house

I'll be sticking around here because I trade cars so often I'll likely be back in a C63 or something within a few years.

GM announced the test results for the C7 Corvette today (the reason I sold my C63) and it is impressive!!!

0-60 in 3.8s
1/4 mile in 12.0 at 119mph
60-0 in 107 feet

But the MOST impressive stat is how well sorted the car is at the track... it ran a 2:51.78 at VIR which is, IMO, absolutely incredible for the standard (non-Z06/ZR1) car.

Here is where the C7 standard car fits in lap times at VIR. I can only imagine what the Z06 version of the C7 will do. Like the Corvette or not, it is very hard to argue with its value.
