I was told during my pre-inspection that the front pan on my transmission (gasket) is leaking fluid. Anybody know if this is normal and how much it would cost to fix it? Is the transmission fluid required unique to MB? And I was planning on getting my work done at Edelweiss Auto in Surrey BC Canada, any knowledge of them?

No it's not normal for your tranny to be leaking.

The fluid is $20/L and you need about 7-8l. Plus a new filter, gasket, bolts and fill stick.

Buy the parts at dealer and bring to your Indy.
