Been a while, but since it was over 45 days until I was able to go to the body shop and confirm it was a no good, POS part, paypal can't refund my money.

Had other crap going on at the time that took priority....I realize I waited too long, but doesn't change the fact this d1ckwad sold a part he claimed was new and 100% minty that was instead bent and misaligned and then disappeared. I have some friends in LE down there in socal though....karma's a b1tch

Too much time has passed to do a chargeback, and paypal, well don't even bother, these are the same people that refunded $2000 to some *** who purchased a violin, and then ordered the buyer to destroy the violin and smash it into tiny little bits, provide photographic evidence because the buyer claimed it was a fake (when it was actually real).
Suspicion is that the buyer destroyed a cheap fake and kept the real one, and managed to get the money refunded...

I don't know about that that time limit but it definitely varies by company (MC, visa, amex). I've did one with visa after more than 6 months with a vendor from MBworld actually for ~ $1500. Paid May, refund received in Dec. I sent them the email correspondence and timeline. It took them about 45 days to investigate and finalize the credit.

Visa has a 120 day limit on most chargeback types. Certain types have a 75 day limit, and there are 1 or 2 types that have a 7 day limit.
