CEL - code 0745 - intake manifold?

I had a CEL which resulted in a intake manifold change last year that corrected it. This year again, I have a CEL - code 0745 which they replaced the purge valve and are now looking to replace the intake manifold again ?!?

Sounds odd.... Anyone have a similar experience or can shed some light?

I had a similar same issue too. Just happened once about couple weeks ago. CEL lights came on and I was due for Service B too. Warranty covered it. I was told there was leak in the gasket or something. I think it is a common issue. Would like to hear from others as well.

I just can't easily accept that it needs to be replaced again after a year

the intake manifold gaskets have issues sealing. mostly because of the aluminum bolts and the very low torque spec. They tend to loosen up over time. I highly doubt after a year itd need an entire new manifold. gaskets and bolts are cheap, labor should be maybe 4hr but if its only a year it should be warrantable/goodwill
