Unofficial AMG Gathering 05/05/13 South Florida -Hard Rock
I was hoping for a better turn out as well.
Riding in your Black was a treat. Now I understand Vic's comment that it is special and the exhaust is damn near perfection.
The guys shooting the video knew the right places to take pics in Miami. I look forward to the video and the pics.
Stretching our legs with a few fellows was what the CLS needed.
Jspeed is doing wonderful stuff on the CL55s and 65s they have. Great bunch of guys who love tuning and racing.
RBJ: keep us Naples guys informed of your meets. We may not be able to attend all of them but we'll try to show up.
The Best of Mercedes & AMG
I also want to point out the phenomenal job Eddie did with his car. Check out the photo of his Red coupe next to the black sedan and see the craftsmanship. Wider is better

We certainly have to do this again
But I must say that it was an absolute pleasure meeting everyone and I thank you all for allowing us to use your cars for the video. Mbworld members Fawking rock!
I will post up the music video as soon as its done. And I'll get all the pics I have up with the video I'm making of the entire event.

The CLS definitely is and feels bigger and heavier. It is not as nimble as the C but it is smoother and feels more effortless in its power delivery. Without a tune, it feels faster past 60mph than a stock C and about the same as a tuned one. The traction is less of an issue than on my tuned C but I suspect once I get this one tuned, I will probably have issues but I will try to splurge on 20s with 305s.
I do get more attention than the C especially with the matte paint. I actually have people at the light giving me the thumbs up or wanting to talk about it.
If I did not need reasonable back seats, the Black series that CED had would be the ticket as it did feel like a beefed up version of the sedan I had and it strikes the perfect balance between hard core and luxury.
