Pics and videos with license plates
I was just watching videos and pics of fellow forum members' cars and someone mentioned how people takes pics of our cars, post them somewhere and don't bother to delete out our license plates.
So my question is, so what? What info can they get out of the license plate and how? Any time I post pics of my cars, I always delete out the license plates but only because everyone else seems to do so. So now I'm curious, what info can people get? I haven't found any website that says "input license plate here and I'll post their address" for example.

Take a pic of someone's car at the track, and that gives manufactures a reason to void warranty (in the case of Mitsubishi and Porsche who aren't track friendly).
That's 1 of 1000 other scenarios where posting pics without blurring license plates is not cool.
