Sorry if I'm resurrecting an old thread, but I just bought a 2011 C63 and want new wheels and tires. I'm an x-M3er and very familiar with what fits with what on BMW. I am still a little lost on what to get for my C63.
I have a black P31. I like the gun metal Fogestar CF10. Is the consensus that the following works? I don't want any rubbing...
Front:
19x8.5 ET 39
245 35 19
Rear
19x10 ET 52
275 30 19
Will I need spacers?
Will this work with or without springs? I put HR springs on my last BMW and hated them. Took them off and put KW suspension on. It seems like you guys like the springs on the C63...
Thanks! I'm enjoying being in the C63 club. It's a GREAT car.

Some rub with 275 in the rear depending on tire brand. I run 275 michelin PSS on CF10 and i don't really rub. Originally i thought i was F +45 and R +52 but looking at WWIndy pictures I have a more flush set up so I'm guessing I'm at F +40 and R +48.
I drive the car everyday and the only time i rubbed while driving on a bumpy road was when i came from SAM's club the trunk full of groceries with the family (2 adults in the front, 2 kids in the back).
It was actually a test as i'd just installed my H&R springs. Speaking of which most of us use these springs as they are the only quick, cheap and aesthetic solution for our cars. Otherwise KW coilovers are the best for performance and look.
If you keep the stock suspension you will never rub. And with this offset i don't think you'll need spacers.

Thanks abcut... BTW, I think I'm going to get Hankook tires. I had 2 sets on the M3 and I didn't see and degradation in ride, noise or handling. They are just priced so much better....
So, 2 more questions....
1- Is the ride improved or worsened with the H&R springs? I love the look, but I also really like the ride with the factory suspension. - tight enough for me, but comfortable enough for the family.
2- where do you buy mods? I really want a matte black, single blade front grille and can't find a on-stop shop for C63 mods. Most of the grilles are for C300s that want to look like a C63. I also heard about some ECU tunes at a local car show last week. I'm don't recall the brands. They seemed pretty "dealer safe".
Sorry for all the questions. I know the answer to these questions are probably buried in threads somewhere, but you guys seem to be way over the learning curve. Thanks for the advice.

1- Surprisingly the H&R springs are softer than my stock suspension but still sporty enough. I do not have the performance package tho.
2- I buy mods mainly from members on this forum or DIY them. This forum is a great source of information. In regards to the front grill you have the choice of going 2012 OEM grill or buy a replica from ebay. There are a lot of tuners out there with more or less the same advertized gains. But some are more famous than others or more affordable than others (weistec, eurocharged,OE ...). Some give you some flexibility to flash your ECU whenever you want (stock for dealer visit or tune for track, street ...).
Where are you located? I would say if you live in California or Florida you'll have more chance finding a shop or tuner for our cars

I'm running that exact setup above (fronts are ET 40 though) with Michelin PSS and H&R springs. Pics can be found here. No rubbing and no issues so far, looks extremely aggressive with no spacers required.

I am looking to swap my BBS wheels for a set of these. Can anyone tell me why they went with a 245 front tire rather than 235? I am currently running a 235/35/19 front tire

I don't intend to lower the car, so can someone definitely confirm that the following setup will not rub?

Michelin Pilot Super Sport 275/30/19
