Torch race fuel

I am planning to use torch on my car. Will it improve my car performance? The car is stocked and un-tune.

Probably not. Your engine won't be calibrated for the higher octane race fuel so it's pretty much useless unless you have a tune.

Yes, your car will improve eeven if its not tuned. a higher octane fuel will improve burning of the fuel completely (which does not happen with normal premium fuel). It will also eliminate any knocking present.

Ofcourse a race fuel tune will allow for more HP since you will be able to advance timing a bit furthur.

On a Stock C63 when using VP103, I have seen gains of 10whp on the dyno.

Sorry SLS, SM-AMG is right. The octane rating of a fuel is no more than a rating of how resistant it is to predetonation.
Unless your computer is reducing performance due to predetonation, a higher octane fuel will do nothing for you.

Why should you believe me? I have worked for more than a decade in the fuel marketing department for one of Canada's largest fuel refiners. While not a product quality expert, I have worked closely with them for several years.
