In case you did want to know more about the clear bra option, I do have it on my car but not on the entire hood. I have it on the entire front end of the car, the headlights and foglights and 95% of people dont ever notice it. The line on your hood CoolBDPhenom03 was talking about is only noticeable if you dont keep your car clean, otherwise it goes quite unnoticed I got it done at premier protective films up here in Fremont (in norcal) but it was totally worth it. It cost me 850$ to do the entire front and an additional 200$ for the head/fog lights. And once a year, premier does a touch up on the bra and fixes any scratches, peeling, rips etc in it if there are any.

(not sure if they have an office in socal but you can ask them)

I did ask them for a quote of the entire car and to do a full body bra costs around 8,000$, insanely pricey but they have a clk DTM here at the fremont shop that has a full body clear wrap and it looks absolutely stunning. pic is attached if anyone is interested in looking (i took a picture from my phone its hard to see but figured id share it anyways ) The turbo in that pic also has a full body wrap, looked pretty sweet as well. If i had the cash lying around to do the entire car, i totally would. It protects your car amazingly well from rock chips, scratches, and even from being keyed and ruining the paint. I would definitely recommend premier if they have a shop in your area

That's also where grnlntern got his BS done. To be fair, that line is probably more noticeable on dark cars. Since yours will be white, it may be well hidden, but any accumulated dirt will stick out more.

Hi thanks for your reply! Is there any way to extend to cover this or is 30k their max?

Hi! Thanks for responding and your further elaborations on the clear bra. Ohh that is interesting. Yea kinda pricey to do the whole thing. But thanks for the pics and the advice. I will definitely weigh my options once I get to really deciding. I don't think my car will get too dirty too fast since it won't be my DD. It won't be a weekend car either though, kind of a in between car. But thanks again

Hmm.. Good to know and something to take into consideration in terms or a full body versus partial. Thanks again CoolBD

ive seen them go to 40k but im sure its even more costly. Your better off just paying out of pocket at the time rather than financing/over paying. the servicess go as follows - typical fair prices....
10kmiles - 300$ (a service)
20k miles - 500$ (b service) 150$ brake flush
30k miles - 300$ (a service)
40k miles - 500$ (b service) 150$ brake flush 500$ trans service

just keep that in mind and compare to what the packages cost. Ive never seen one go past 40k miles

Go with a full hood application, the partial hood leaves a dirt line when the car gets dirty and is difficult to maintain over time especially when you need to wax or polish the painted portions of the hood.

8000?? That's a rip off I just got done full hood, fenders, mirrors, rocker panels, interior door trims, and rear wheel areas for 2000 with Xpel Ultimate. The whole care I was quoted at 3500! Also this is precut on a machine not cut on the car WITH wrapped ends!

some cutting is always required to achieve thorough coverage — regardless of the pattern used — as the film is stretched into place which always creates some overage.

cutting on the car as fine, as long as the film is "scored" and not cut all the way through to the paint.

the guys at premier are some of the best in the business — just because someone else is willing to do it for less, does mean the results will be same. you get what you pay for.

Actually that is the running prices in the Atlanta, GA area as well as the Boston area. So this isnt just ONE guy this is a authorized dealer who has been doing this for the last 12 years. Most of the guys in the business that been open a while do pretty good work. Especially if they have been open a while where their job work is pretty much their name!

depending on coverage, clear bra can be as low as 600 (front bumper, and about 12 inches of hood and fenders), or as high as 1500 for a complete front wrap. ideally, you would want to fully wrap the entire hood, front fenders, bumper and mirrors if you are keeping the car. if its a lease, i probably wouldnt worry too much.
I was thinking about getting my ml63 wrap in carbon fiber facade for hood and fender like a clear bra: what do you think
