Hey guys. Tried searching, but couldn't get a solid answer. Going to wrap my roof and wanted to know if someone could please help me figure out how to take the shark fin antenna off the roof? Not sure if it just pops off or if I've got to go in from under the car somehow. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I'm quite sure that it is attached with dbl sided tape so, you should be able to use the "de-badge" method to remove it.

It is bolted from underneath. Will need to remove headliner.

i've managed to pop the rear dome light off and have the perfect tool to unscrew the bolt, but is it true that i still have to remove the headliner? can anyone tell me how you're supposed to do that as i've never done something like that before? is it hard to get it back perfectly once i take it off?

If you can get the rear light out, you may have room to get a tool in.

I got my roof painted at the Bodyshop, and I remember them telling me he had to remove the liner to release the bolts holding the antenna.

Once released, he had to hang the antenna cuz he didn't want to unplug anything.. Smth like that.

How did you go removing the antenna? Could you access the bolt from the interior light or did you have to remove the roof lining?
