Not entirely true but unlikely a dealer is going to dig that deep into the ecu. It took my dealer like a week just to figure out the car was on a kleeman tune

MAcarbon makes very high quality pieces and offers excellent Customer Service. I used them for my 911 and my R8 and have just ordered their kit for my C63. Fit and finish is as good or better then factory IMO.

^ lol indeed. Then again, 37K miles on an immaculate condition 2006 for $31K was nearly impossible to pass-up. Warranty and everything, I'm $38K out the door, which ain't even the entry ticket to a C63 or M3 sedan here. Quite frankly, and despite my hate towards bimmers (mainly M3s), this M5 looks quite the thing in my garage. I actually like a BMW for once. I've already gotten so many looks on a sole drive out last night. People everywhere turned their and heads and thought, "Wow, dick!". Good ol' days

As long as you are happy with your new acquisition that is all that matters
Any pics of it?

Ha, well, as long as you're happy that is what counts. Sick car for sure and I'll pray that SMG holds up for you.

^ thanks. You know, after reading up on SMG, it doesn't appear to be that bad. Should it fail, the warranty will pay itself off, and give me a chance upgrade clutch at the same time. When my turbo wagon dies, I'm definitely going to grab a 135i for DD. Thanks for getting me to know the N54 well.

who looks at a 7 year old five series? not anyone in this area anyways.

the "wow dick" might be due to your driving.

C63 AMG
Most people have no clue as to the age of a car so yes people probably turn and look. A nice legit car, like the one he decided on, can be any number of years old.

Just my .02 cents on a comment like that.

Good choice on the 135i in the future. You won't regret that. Just be sure to nab an n54 although the n55's are not to bad themselves. Shoot me a pm if you ever find yourself in an n54 and have questions

This M5 looks clean. Hopefully you won't have any issue with it. GL
