A few people including myself called them out on various forums about it then they started with all the excuses like "ummm, we went into limp mode" and "we hit our brakes before finish line" (ya right lol) and "we dialed back the boost" (ya, becuase everyone dials back their boost for a top speed event). AMS jumped into a pound they will not be able to swim in, my opinion they like the "AMG Tax" aspect of this market and figured they would jump in and hope their name and what they have done with their GT-R's fools a few people. I can tell you they did not fool anyone at the event, they were both the heros and the laughing stock of the event, their Alpha Omega GT-R went 214mph which made them heros but everyone was keeping an eye on their E63 after all the hype they post the week before about it making 787whp and it only trapped at 164. Weistec claims their own E63 Biturbo only makes about 730whp yet it was trapping at over 170mph at the Shift Sector 1/2 mile event a month and a half ago and was beating me by 3 cars so someone please explain why I was trapping the same speed as the AMS car that is making a claimed 50whp more than the Weistec car?????

I am thinking about buying an E63 S 4-matic just so I can embarass them, considering their shop is 15 minutes from my house and they test at the same track I do, bumping into them at the track one day is ineveidable.
JRcart was is your deal? We have explained this to you time and time again yet you continue to bring this up for no reason other than to try and take shots at us...unfounded shots. We had a long conversation about this not more that 48 hours ago that was well documented here: https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...63-vs-zr1.html All seemed well but I guess you were just buying time before you can take another shot at us. I know you haven't forgotten. My only guess is you didnt think we would see your post in this section...

In fact your edited your post on the 11th and added this:

I have not posted in any of your Alpha C threads or CLS threads here or on any other forum. I guess what I am saying is that I am not on a bash AMS fling, truly not my intention with any of my posts.
I guess you changed your mind about not "bashing" us???

We have stated countless times that we have NOT run the car at that 787 level and that we couldnt due to a load trip that was just recently rectified. I don't know how many more times I have to say this. The Shift-Sector Event was also a rolling start event and I have not been able to find any published results nor any details on the layout or how long the acceleration area was. To compare our car at this event to another car at a rolling start event is not even a fair comparison.

laughing stock? to whom? Marcin from speedriven (an old friend of ours) actually had nice things to say about our car considering the power level we were running it at. In fact nearly everyone that has talked to us about the car since then has been more than impressed.

We invite you to buy an AWD car or whatever car and should the opportunity present itself we would be more than happy to run you. I really wish I could understand what problem you have with us. From what I have seen we have been more forthcoming than any other major tuner on this site showing dynos, 60-130's 1/4 miles, mod lists, fuel used etc. You seem to think our prior experience with other makes and models doesn't transfer to this platform. We beg to differ and in the coming weeks and months we will do our best to prove that to you.

Please stop with the hating... it's completely unnecessary.

Eric

Only one way to settle this, crank up the car to 787, and run it on video!

Laughing stock? That would be every Benz owner at the event that read about all your hype before the event and you 787whp claims. People were expecting big numbers and you guys tripped on your dicks. I am not the only one saying it, people have posted in your threads saying the same thing.

Bottom line your car is not producing 787whp on chassis dyno. Let's settle it at the track.prove me wrong.

I am done trying to defend our company and our results to a person that clearly has some unspoken issue with us. I am already getting PM's from members telling me to ignore you and to stop wasting my time arguing with you. We have thousands of customers that we have proven our work and results to since 2001. We made every bit of the power we advertised on our dyno. If you choose to not believe us...so be it.

We have already stated we would run you at the track should the opportunity present itself. Are we supposed to stop what we are doing and meet you in the park for a showdown???

Clearly our existence in this market gets under your skin and ill just never understand why. We will see you at the next event.

Eric

Hey Jim, AMS has directly answered your questions numerous times, so please move on. I agree that it is now coming across as bashing.

Im not sure about the whole AMS situation so i will leave that alone.
But i remember you pulling pretty good on the weistec E63 at the no fly zone event uptop with your C63BS. Did they make big power changes since then? To go from losing by 2 cars to winning by 3cars is a big difference

You are correct, at the No Fly Zone 1/2 mile event in March my C was beating the Weistec E63 by 2-3 cars, there are some videos floating around of some of those passes. In April Weistec and I ran our cars at the Shift Sector event in California, I raced the Weistec E63 three times at that event and it beat me by 2-3 cars every time, there are videos of a couple of those runs as well. I was trapping at 167 and the Weistec E was trapping a few mph higher than me. Therein lies why I have been questioning the AMS numbers but I am not going to harp on that any longer, hopefully I will bump into them at another track event and they will line up with me. Weiste did make some changes to their E63 between those events and have done even more since the Shift Sector event but I am not at liberty to post any number but I can say the car is insane and my C would not stand a chance in hell against it in a race.
