Not difficult at all. I used GooGone... Saturated the existing spoiler contact areas... Started from one end, using thick dental floss, wrapped a few times. I suggest wear gloves... And work the dental floss back and forth. I know other folks used fishing string, but if wanted something more passive. Also I used a heat gun in focused/concentrated areas. I.e only work small sections at a time, but be also careful not to get to close to the paint and continually move the heat gun. Just keep soaking the area with Goo gone and work the dental floss. Finally, the most important thing to remember is to have patience, and take your time.

After the spoiler is removed, clean the area thoroughly. After removing the excess glue, etc. Do a final clean by prepping the trunk with alcohol before installing the new spoiler. I recommend doing a dry fit set up before exposing the tape. I put a centerline mark on the trunk and spoiler to match/align it during the dry fit. Once I got it centered, remove the tape and install. Be aware that the contact points are on two axis... The top and rear...you'll know what I mean once you see the spoiler. So practice during the dry fit.

By the way, Mode Carbon is the best product out there! Nicholas is a good guy, very responsive. I am considering an all Mode Carbon setup. I have the Splitter and Bootlid spoiler. Just need their diffuser...
