Black Series front winglet/fins
Hey Guys,
My black does not have the aero pack, which I was happy about because, I am not a fan of the rear wing. However, I saw a fully loaded black the other day and I'm in love with the front winglets/fins/canards or whatever you call them, lol. SGA sells them separately in either carbon fiber or glossy black. They claim the CF are OEM and the black are just made from the molds of the OEM's.
Now two questions, do you guys think it would look good without the rear wing? And what color? I do NOT have the CF accents so, i'm leaning towards black, any thoughts?

good deal
i would still recommend the canards in a matte black . i keep hearing people say to keep it classy but why buy a BS , which is supposed to be a streetable race car if you want class , buy an S-class , lowered on 22s , and call it a day
i strongly believe that a BS , no matter what series it is , was built to be a race car and not a luxury car

I'm a big fan of the aero package as a whole which means the big wing and the fins. If i have to buy a BS i would look for the loaded one you probably saw.
Having said that if you don't like the big wing i wouldn't bother installing the fins in the front unless you have something as aggressive in the back that will match. I find your car very clean with the Mode Carbon spoiler and IMO adding the fins won't help .
But if you do decide to go for it CF would be my choice since you have a CF spoiler.

Thanks for the input guys I might just order them and see how they look before permanent install. I wish there was someone near by with the complete aero pack for me to get a really good look at. The car I saw was driving the other direction on a slow two lane road. I tried to get his attention, but he was texting, lol

I vote for flat/matte black canards! Classy or not, I think it really sets off the BS with the regular C-class and C63. Plus, the canards are exclusively for the BS; you should totally have them!

Good luck buying them from SGA. They are, without doubt, the worst online vendors i have ever seen. Thye take literally weeks to respond to emails and then when they do they dont send invoices so you can pay them and get the order happening. I have askled about 4 times for an invoince so i can pay and get these parts and they never reply. how they stay in business is just beyond me. Their sales team need a bullet

2012 C63 AMG coupe conversion to black series
I am doing a conversion of my C63 to the black series with the OEM parts. I purchased the parts from SGA. It's true that they take a long time to respond and you have to send them mail regularly to get at least an update on your order. But at the end, after 2 months, I received all the parts (about 150 different parts) and they were all there...

I assume you purchased the front winglets as well. How is the quality?

I did not purchased the winglets. I am not really fan of those. As many other on this forum I prefer the black series as it is. I did purchased the carbon parts tho and all they delivered was OEM parts.
