Dyno scheduled June 3rd
I have a dyno day scheduled with 034 Motorsport on Monday. This will be very interesting. One, because I already have a Powerchip tune that yielded 43hp to the wheels, so we'll see what the gains are with this new Velos tune. Two, because when Vivid dyno'd the car, it was on a Mustang dyno and that's exactly what I'll be using on Monday. Three, I'll finally get to try to access the dyno menu
I'm still on vacation, but my body shop guy pulled the ECU file and sent it to Velos. They should be returning the tuned files tomorrow. Stay tuned...

I wonder if it's worth getting a new tune from a different vendor when you are already tuned . Subscribed!

You are still dyno'ing your car on different days, different conditions... etc. Id put more faith in your street runs vs cars you already ran with the current tune. And not all mustang dynos are the same.

I know that, but at least it's one level of consistency. I'll get to compare that to my car now, which should be an identical mechanical setup. Then, I'll do the re-tune immediately afterward so that will be an accurate delta.
To abcut's question, I want a re-tune because newer tunes should be able to yield ~20hp+ to the wheels. And Powerchip seems to be out of business.
