X pipe question?

I just bought an MBH X pipe and took it to the local muffler shop, they said they couldn't do it. They said it doesn't hook up to the stock midpipe. Which when he showed me, the MBH X looks slightly bigger than the stock pipes. How do I go about installing this on the normal midpipe/muffler? I don't want a hack job underneath my car either.

Sorry for the noob question, any help would be appreciated. Thanks

NO once cut it's slip on and clamp on.

No welding needed.

Why do you need to go back to this guy and show him pics? Take your business somewhere else.... This guy obviously doesn't know what he's doing.
