I'm hoping you're right because that is a ridiculous number. I'm hoping he meant $895 because that would be a great deal.
FWIW, ACG was offering it for $1700 plus tax three months ago and that included installation, new seals, bearings and Motul Fluid.

They've been advertised in these forums as low as $900.
I had a quote for $1090 for the diff + $656 for installation from a local shop. I don't know if that included the kit though.
Either way $1895.00 plus shipping is way too high.
