I have been doing a little digging over the last few months trying to find out more info on the replacement engine for the C class after it was released that the glorious 6.2 is going to be phased out

Though actual output numbers are hush hush. Based on the fact that this engine is essentially the 4 pot X2 from the CLA AMG made into a V configuration. This new positive pressure engine should be an absolute animal. Speculative hp #'s are 460-500hp, and considering the engine in the CLA makes 345hp, there is a LOT of hp left on the table for this new platform. In theory it should be happy running at 690hp all day long.
Bonus content
Now that AMG has announced that they offer AWD on all of their vehicles save the SLS, I think that the Audi will be going down the road in a couple of years...
