dumb question: why are the sum of the cylinders equal to double the power? there are only 2 turbos not 4

Modded 2010 Harley Edition F-450 and a '13 S5
The CLA is a single turbo 2.0l 4 cylinder. AMG has used this engine as a starting point to build the 4.0l twin turbo essentially staggering the bores and creating a V8. The specific output is 172.5hp/lt as a 2.0l, 4 cylinder. Times the specific output by 4 and you get 690hp if turbo spec, oiling, cooling and fuel systems are matched to capacity. It wont be, I know... But the potential is there.

I agree he didnt do a good review at all. The car is awesome but like you mentioned it wouldve been nice if he touched on performance figures or compared it to something.

That car must be a blast wow. Weistec is great and I like matt farrah. His reviews and videos arent very technical or depthful but theyre fun, and he seems like a decent dude so no complaints by me with him.

LOL, my CLK BS made an appearence in the video parked right behind Steve while he was talking. That E63 Bi-Turbo of theirs is no joke. It can now easily handle my C BS in half mile rolls with no problem whatsoever.

I imagine their E has a little more juice since it's bi-turbo compared to your n/a C? Between your CBS and their E which do you think has a better top end?

My C is not NA anymore, I am running the Weistec Stage 3. I would say their E would get me on the big end, although I am not too familar with the M157 gearing and such. I do know that at the last event I ran with Weistec, the Shift Sector event in California in April we lined up a couple times and their E63 bi-turbo pulled me by a few cars and bested me by an average of about 3mph in the trap. If I was forced to choose I would say the E would get me on the big end. Their E is a bit heavier than my C BS however I think the drag coeffient of the E is better than my C with the aero package and aero comes into paly big time at the big end. I am doing the Michigan Mile this weekend so I should be able to post up some 1 mile trap speeds.

Oh that's right i forgot. Yeah i saw that footage at your last shift sector run.
Quite impressive though between two cars. And i think the gearing on the E is a little if not a lot taller than your C. But nonetheless both impressive setups.

just goes to show everyone what a beast the Weistec E63 bi-turbo is. We all know the Wesitec Stage 3's run 10.50's all day long and the Weistec E is beating my Stage 3. That's why I made such a stink and called out AMS and their claims about their Alpha E. They are claiming it makes 50 more whp than the Weistec E yet at the Chicago 1/2 mile event last month it was trapping the same exact speed as my C. Then they started with the excuses lol. I can not wait to run into those guys at another event and stick a finger up their *****. AMS is 20 minutes from my house and we test at the same tracks so it is bound to happen here shortly.

Why are you so hung up on talking poorly about us every single chance you get. You know its posisble to support one vendor and not talk badly about others the same time right? It's ok that you like weistec and we have literally no problem with them at all. Why all the hate???
