Rear lower quarter panel & stone chips?

How do you blokes go about rear lower quarter panel protection from stone chips during burnouts/drift/motorkhana etc? I plan on doing some wet & dry motorkhana events and the dry ones can be particularly nasty being held in car parks. My previous WRX STi was hammered across the lower doors and rears and I don't want to go down that path again with such a nice and expensive car.

I've found some removable magnetic sheeting that should work - http://magnet.com.au/magnetic-sheeting-white.html but am open to other suggestions.

Cheers

I used this stuff for a long trip through the desert. It worked OK but started peeling at the usual highway speeds after a few hours so I was forced to pull over several times to trim away sections. You can probably find a similar (or better) product where you are.
