Yes is in the graph.
435hp but the car had the 2nd cats deleted, so not completely stock.

Very nice. Was thinking about heading this way at one point.

alrasheed1991 07-11-2013 11:42 AM

wow nice numbers !

what fuel you were using ?

NJM63 07-11-2013 11:43 AM

Wow those numbers are great. I had MBH LTH, mid-pipes, catless x-pipes, ROW airbox, K&N airfilters, and Weistec tune put on my BS last week. Can't wait to get mine on the dyno. Awesome numbers!!

Any reason your tuner doesn't let it spin up another 500-600 RPMs? Your power curve is plainly on the up and up when it's cut off at 6800. I'd say there's another 20hp left in it if you allow it to spin up a little higher.

i agree, it is an old mustang dyno with a speed limiter.

Does that say engine power and engine torque on the dyno sheet?

MDs are interesting dynos. MD found they were losing a lot of business to DJ because DJs read higher and customers liked that:confused: So you can now with newer MDs calibrate them to read as high or higher than DJs. Not saying thats the case here because clearly this dyno reads like a MD should (lower) than a DJ.

I wouldn't say 511rwhp is clearly all that conservative, as a mustang dyno would read, for the mods; on the contrary actually.

NellyRod 07-11-2013 05:56 PM

Very nice numbers. I'm now even more excited to see what mine will put down. We have almost an identical list of mods, except mine will have high flow cats, and a different tuner.

Maverick1975 07-11-2013 06:23 PM

Nice one! I would live to hear this in action!

Why does the stock graph (w/ 2nd cat delete) cut off at about 5900rpm? Seems to me that if that line had continued the same way the post LTH/tune did, the 435whp would have been more like 465-470whp. That would lead me to believe the dyno reads very high, as we all know that stock BS are well below that. Clearly the delta is there and the LTH/tune combo yielded gains, but I don't think it's really putting down 511whp on your standard dynojet.

Not being a hater, just making some observations. Also don't want others like NellyRod to be disappointed or think something is wrong if they run their similarly modded cars on a more average dyno and "only" see 470-480whp. Congrats nonetheless.

I can ask the tech why the graph looks like that, but I know for a fact that the rpm limit was set 6800RPM on both.
Also I know that NellyRod had his C63BS dyno more than once and he got same results around 430whp

The Graph states Engine HP and Engine TQ not Rear Wheel. So it must be very conservative.

Merc63 07-11-2013 08:26 PM

Why doesn't torque and horsepower cross at 5252??

Or am I blind.

HP and TQ are scaled differently. Not sure why anyone still does this drives me nuts too.

BerBer63 07-11-2013 08:56 PM

Sounds high. my set up with row, tune, catless LTs and xpipe, 91 octane is 455rwhp.

That is correct. I had 3 runs on 3 separate DynoJets and put down 428-432 WHP each time. To be honest, I'd be happy to put down 480ish WHP. I think a 50 WHP gain from headers and a tune is pretty decent on a car that already comes strong from the factory. Especially considering the fact that I will be running 200 cell cats. I will do a before an after dyno next week Friday when I have everything installed.:zoom:
