Looking for some input from previous preferably modded E55 owners. Were you happy with the switch? Does the C63 lack the punch of an E55? Is it less comfortable because its a smaller car? Stuff like that. Thanks.

c63 is substantially rougher than an e55- uncomfortable i dont think so, but thats a matter of opinion. any of the 08-09's with performance package are alot more savage in the comfort department though. yes the e55 lacks the initial torque 500 off idle doesnt exist in the c63. It is smaller and lighter and handles way better. Not having the sbc system give you alot better feel. Stock for stock probably a semi close race until top end c63 will run off. advantage of the e55 is mods. c63 is very limited and cost a whole lot more after headers and tune.... cams/porting/supercharger etc... transmission is leaps and bounds better compared to the lazy 5 spd in the e55. Your best bet is to test drive one, see what you think. e55's definately have heatsoak issues and do lack some topend power which is the opposite in the 63 motors. if you cant live without the low end instant torque and like the c63 just throw a supercharger on it.
