Looks good homie! My 40mm bolts didn't click either with my 10mm rear spacers. I only went 12mm in the front cuz I don't want to damage my front fenders while turning, I also knew why my HRE were not 100% flush in the front for that reason. Lol

Don't the coilovers sit lower than springs? How do you survive without rubbing with your set up?

Thanks for the kind words! Since I was on 18s I was sure I could go up to 15mm without too much hassle. When I upgrade to 19s bye bye to spacers.

W204 C63 Coupe, W166 ML350 BlueTEC, 928GT, C5 Z06 & IS300 race cars, EQE 4Matic+ on order
The clearance in the rear hub between the OEM length bolts and the parking brake is only about 2 to 3 mm on all C63 cars (including my 2013 P30/P31). I had a set of plated aftermarket bolts with locks and the locks were about 3mm longer than the rest of the bolts. I heard them hitting the parking brake shoe springs and ended up grinding them down a couple of mm.

Exclamation Update on Rubbing Issue

Fronts have not rubbed yet. Rear rubbed only 3 times. First time was in my picture. Second and third times today. I forced them to rub twice by going 60 at that same spot on the same patch of road. Only for a split second. No noticeable damage. Have not rubbed anywhere else and I've driven over 50 miles since install.

p.s. uploading some pictures to photobucket as we speak for a full 360 walk around the car. 5minute photoshoot. camera was set to auto. Will update original post shortly

The rears are rubbing with 10mm spacer and 265/35/18 in the back? That's really strange.

But I am glad that the 15mm fronts I advised you don't rub haha

I can hear it rub during that bump. The spring decompresses and compresses really quickly. So far no visible paint chips. Overall it's good. If I went with 17mm pads instead of stock 14mm I would have been better off. I do not want to go through the trouble of reinstalling it though. No passengers yet, so I hope it doesn't rub that bad on bumps with people in it. Overall I'm satisfied. The rears look meaner than front even though fronts have wider spacers.

P.S. I was about to go 12mm rears to be the most aggressive I can get, but I'm glad I didn't go that route.

265 will rub with 10mm spacers in the rear.. I got 255, and it's a tight fit with 10mm spacers.

Do you think 17mm spring pads would be better for clearance? If not I'll probably just revert to 255s in the future. Imagine if I had my 275s...

I couldn't get my RE760 to rub on the street with 14mm in the rear. It's possible I could have with passengers in the back or weight in the trunk.

If I had a 10mm it wouldn't have rubbed at the track. It really depends on the the "actual" size of the tire.

Luckily we're just rubbing in the inner fender liner and not buckling any panels

looks awesome, I love the flush but not slammed look. too low looks a bit ghetto and I think you have the perfect balance!

are your mirrors covers or the full housing? it looks like the full housing (and looks amazing btw).... I have always wanted to get that but was put off by how much work it is to install.

Thanks for the kind words.
I don't like slammed look either. Mirrors are OEM AMG cf mirror covers. The mirrors are easy to install on 2010 and beyond. You just pull the cover off. You don't remove the whole mirror housing, just the covers. Average good cf mirrors are 700+ I think. Oem is very expensive unless you know people

diy on removal of 2010+ mirror cover. took me less than 5 mins for both sides.

Wow, it's so easy to remove the mirror covers on our cars.. Makes it easy for ppl to steal it.

I don't understand MB, they make it so much work to remove the door trim (remove the whole door liner & the small trim is held by 5 bolts which i find overkill) .. But on the other hand, they make the mirror covers easy to remove/steal.
