Downsizing :(
The driveway/garage currently has an 01' 740iL, 06' 760i, 09 135, and my 09 c63. 3 out of the 4 of those are going. The 135 is what is staying.
Here's the deal. Both 7 series are being driven by my brother, 1 in his name and 1 in his dads. And, my c63 is going out the door as well. The new plan, I am giving my brother the 1 series in exchange for the two 7 series and trading in the 09' c63 for.... A facelift

I know, you were worried. I also know I'm going from 2 cars to 1, but that cuts insurance and maintenance costs greatly and oh yea, 1 less car payment so I'm paying less than 4 figures/month on cars. I also see it as a second chance and a fresh slate on a newer untouched c63. I will also end up freeing some more money (if I want) to dig a little deeper into modifying. I'm excited to get back the majority of the warranty I bought as well so it shouldn't take long to get the newer c63 to where this one sits as is. Also, I'll be able to send in the ADV wheel to get fixed/replaced.
Now comes the big question... White or Black? Decisions decisions..
Cosmetic vendors be prepared, you'll be getting orders from me in hopefully a couple weeks time.
Final note, call me crazy... But the 09' headbolts did end up influencing the decision as well. I love the facelift look too which helps and mine was mechanically sound, just the risk to me wasn't worth it.
My car now with the wheels I have looks awesome IMO and is black, but, it does show imperfections on the paint.
I am hoping that with the pro rated money I get back from my current c63 that I'll be able to lower the car, tints, and get the wheel fixed up. Maybe get crazy with a tune as well.

You really can't go wrong with either color. Black gives it a really aggressive look which suits the car, but white gives a more elegant look; especially with the diamond white.
Good luck with your decision! And pics to come as well when you get it!

one final road trip with this c63 before you trade it in?

Thanks for the tips on the black. Already have the ADV's so I don't have to go through waiting for the wheels to get made. That being said, I will be sending one back in for repair. I've already spoken with ADV and they were fast with responses and informative. Granted I'm sure that is usually how it all starts, however, I am not going to bad mouth for no reason. I'll be cautious though for sure.
For the E... apparently my rear wheels are already a good size for the car, however, I'd have to send in the fronts to get new faces machined for the offsets. Then again, I have to get 1 wheel fixed anyway.
Going today to talk to the dealer and figure everything out.
I am a little concerned with the big floaty feel of the E which is obviously noticeable over the C. But the power of that 5.5 grabs me.
I think as I wait to have all my trade values appraised I've made a decision to keep it to the C. I'm 23... I can just get an E later in life anyway when they come down in price etc. Right now my goal in this whole car rearrangement is to lower my overall payments and save money. Also, I won't have to worry about maintenance/modify two+ cars at once. That being said, maybe someday I can become a crowd favorite on the interwebs with the places I see myself going. I'm not jumping at cutting my roof out and replace it with CF and have custom carbon ceramics brakes like dads, but, I aim to have a true head turner.
Or, 5.5 swap in a new C63? Hey now
Somehow though, being a hooligan in a C63 Coupe doesn't feel quite so bad....like the car is meant for it, somewhat.
Whenever I drive an E63 (haven't driven the CLS63, though I have driven the CLS550) it just seems like I should be cruising, and not hammering on the throttle. The E-Class makes me feel like a car built for taking clients out for dinner, or cruising to the office, etc. When I jump into my C63, I look forward to burying my foot in the carpet and hearing the thunder. Driving like MB and AMG intended it to be driven.
With the E-Class (whether it's an E63 or E350), I just want to settle inside and enjoy the serenity of the journey, and not the insanity of the thrust it can generate. In that perspective (and my opinion alone), the E63 seems almost like a waste.
That being said, my other car is a 510 HP Range Rover, so Pot --> Kettle and all of that. But sitting in the Rangie doesn't make me feel like jumping on the throttle either, despite the fact that it's fully capable of a sub 6-second 0-60 MPH sprint.
I want an E63...I just don't want one badly enough to swap my C63 for it (or the RR, for that matter, as it has it's own qualities).
If I was 23 again, I'd probably lean towards the C63. It seems like the right "fit", personality-wise for a young lad. It's basically a modern-day muscle car, and the 6.2L sounds much better than the 5.5TT.
The E63 is a hot-rod for old guys (like me) who need 4-doors, and a big trunk, and we mostly drive it around sedately with our wives and families in tow (hopefully just one wife and one family each). Then on the occasional early drive into the office at 5:00 AM, we let the car rip down the highway to remind us of why we bought it, and the fact that we were once 23 year old (young?) men as well.
Personally, I'd say go with the C63. It's the right combination of luxury and muscle car for a 23 year-old.

If a new CLS63 was in the picture we wouldn't be having this conversation. That car is amazing.
I am going with the C. Cheaper and I know the car. I love it, saves money, so fun, etc. E will happen if/when a wife and family does.
