I dont think i've ever seen an overlay diffuser. These are likely a bolt on replacement.

I was under the belief most were overlays except the vors and mode ones? Maybe I'm mistaken.....

Hi guys,
Thank you for bring this up.

Diffusers which we make for AMG vehicles are all replacements instead of overlays. We do make overlay diffusers for W204s; however, they are for non-AMG rear bumpers with single outlet exhaust.
