CEL CAME ON.....GOOD THING !

i'm driving around last Wednesday and decided to play with a couple of GTRs . we get going and the CEL comes on . I immediately let off and decide to take the monster home . Friday I take the car to the dealer for a quick check and they find out it came on because it was running lean . took me a minute to figure out why but realized it's due to Keith's ram air setup . thanks Keith for the awesome setup and i'm proof that it actually works

talked to Steve at Weistec and we decided i'm shipping the ECU back to him for some minor tweaking

it may not be the fastest car in the world but it sure is an absolute monster for now . only 1 major step left until it's complete

Glad you didn't damage anything.

Now get an AFR gauge installed or at least a temporary one on board until you know you have the fueling dialed in.

Good thing indeed. Perhaps this should be programmed in as an immediate limp mode function because internally things can go south in a hurry.

That is great to see, I thought I remember reading that Keith said there really weren't any gains from it... but maybe with the blower its helping out! I am sure Steve will be able to tweak it just right and you should see gains from it! Nice!!

I new there would be a little gain from it but never really knew how much . I figure that every little bit helps with this monster . Steve is getting the ECU today so he can work his magic

You could have an intake leak cause the lean cel.

lots of hoses in the back of the blower to rub a hole in or pop off. Any air past the maf will cause this.

I have had the blower for a while and since it's not my daily driver , it gets little use but I have never had a problem until right after I installed the new ram air setup . due to the size of the filters and the fact that it's a direct shot of air , Steve agreed that it's definitely due to the increase in air flow . he will do his thing and I will know after I get my ECU back
