watched the vid. nice. but you're missing the point. no1 is doubting that it's louder when standing behind the exhaust on the outside. I'm talking about inside the cabin while driving. I want more. I really could care a less how enjoyable it sounds to ppl on the street. I pay for the car lol. I want to hear it.
I was talking about a 335is, not 335i, 2 different sounds.

would that not require cutting? and thus void my warranty?

Even with all 4 windows down (sedan) it's still not loud enough. the only time I notice it is randomly if I'm cruising and go WOT in sport mode.

Any one can chime in on this? How do I make this thing roar, or at least hear it roar. I could give two s**** how it sounds for everyone else. I'm the one paying for the car, I want to hear it hah
This can be done in a few steps:

- Stand behind your car whilst someone else revs it
- Record the sound with your iphone
- Hop back in your car and drive off, playing the sound on your iphone, making sure to loop the sound on continuous play
- Profit

If it were me, I'd go with a cat-back valvetronic exhaust. That way you can have it loud when you want it, quiet when you don't, and you won't have to muck about with tunes, disabled O2 sensors or emissions issues. I think Agency Power makes a bolt-on valvetronic system for our cars, but I have no personal experience with it or the company.

EDIT: Plus, if you leave everything in front of the mufflers OEM (headers, cats, resonators and all), you won't be doing anything that would affect how the engine runs hence you minimize the risk of running into warranty problems.

from what I understand, any exhaust mods requiring some form of cutting. Are you saying this one is 100% bolt on?

UPDATE: I drove today with the windows all down, and backseats folded. Still.. I'm putting on a show for everyone else, but me (the driver) pretty depressing... I want to feel and hear this beast in my seat, in my stomach! lol (sounds wrong)

Only reading what it says on their website - "... Including all necessary hardware for fitment, there is no cutting, welding, or adjustment required. The bolt-on system saves a lot of weight off the back end of the car, compared to the bulky stock unit. "
http://www.agency-power.com/catalog/...9i6cikakcb08q2

EDIT - There's a different part number for the coupe. No idea what the difference is.

*ROAR* I think I'm going to go with

+ECU from Eurocharged
+filters
+Used MBH Headers

and see where I stand. Not comfortable touching the exhaust and I fear that will only make outside so obnoxiously loud that it finally makes inside the cabin somewhat decent.

LOL, your question was pretty clear on your 1st post, I think everyone just sees the words 'exhaust' and 'louder' and gets excited.

M-B goes through great links to add sound insulation to the car. Might be able to take the door panels off to remove some. Probably able to get some pulled from out of the trunk too.

I have Renntech X-pipe for sale. It'll improve the sound greatly.

C63 AMG exhaust

Hello my fellow c63 lovers!! Sorry if this isn't the right place to post but the thread title was c63 exhaust and I couldn't find any other suitable places to post also I'm new to the forum (first post haha).

I have a question almost opposite to the dude who started the thread (not trying to high jack his thread)

I just purchased a 2010 c63 amg and am about to start with the tuning. Since this thread was c63 exhaust... My question is which full system would give a significant increase in power without adding too much noise? I actually love the sound of the stock amg exhaust but I want to let her breathe (exhale) properly.

Also any other tips for the start of tuning, which air filters, reprogramming etc? So far I bought the car outright and added carbon fiber diffuser, side mirrors, trunk lip, and 19inch amg black spoke with silver edge wheels with new rubber.

Everyone's opinion is cool, just wondering what ppl are suggesting.

Thanks in advance !

My 335is was bone stock. I don't want to stand on the curb and have someone drive my car past me to hear it lol.

Neither of these are addressing the solution I seek, which is to bring that noise and experience into the cabin for the driver/owner of the vehicle daily when I go WOT. ]

I appreciate the suggestions though. ty
Grab 4 hoses. Hook 1 up to each exhaust and route 2 in through each of your rear windows... no dont.

Dump your resonator and go from there.
